Paxful serves as a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency exchange and a comprehensive monetary translator. Fueled by individuals and blockchain technology, it facilitates payment solutions for businesses and online commerce. This grants access to a previously untapped market of 2 billion unbanked individuals.
Objective
Enhance the user experience for trading on Paxful by introducing new products and features to boost engagement, value, and retention, while also exploring Guest user pathway (Unregistered users).
Scope of work
In this phase, we didn’t follow structured methodologies such as Agile or Kanban. Extensive collaborative design efforts took place.
Our Users
We concentrated on our primary users based on the prevailing utilization of the Paxful platform. We targeted the African and American markets in line with the company's strategic direction, i.e. prioritizing markets with significant opportunities.
Data
We utilized information gathered from current payment methods on the platform to guide our design choices, i.e., determining which data to display.
Task 1: Homepage Redesign
We had to discover methods to boost interaction on the homepage, simultaneously enhancing registration and making the homepage more tailored.

Task 2: Paxful Pay
Paxful users want to use Bitcoin from their Paxful wallet to pay restaurants and businesses. In addition, restaurants and businesses want to be paid using Bitcoin and also onboard into the Paxful directory.
